All I Want For Christmas

I have such wonderful memories of driving my brother's old Woodie when I was in high school. And, oh what I'd give to have it back. Unfortunately, he sold it - for nothing - to buy a Ford Mustang. Both would be considered classics today.  Maybe Santa will leave one of these in front of my house for Christmas -

  1. Once again you did make me smile. My older cousin had a really banged up Woodie wagon , a Ford I think. He was always going to Surf USA, but it would barely make it around town.

  2. Ugh! I feel your pain. My dad had a vintage convertible ford falcon completely restored and that's the car I cruised around town in during high school....then he traded it in for a new monte carlo...really dad? really? LOL

  3. If I could, I would have one sitting in your driveway come Christmas morning. Wouldn't it be wonderful to grant wishes such as this for great people? I wish I were Oprah!!

I loved the old Woodie Wagons. Those & Chris Craft wood boats were a work of art. Sending you lots of holiday cheer. xx

  4. Dear Rita,
What beautiful classic cars. I still see the Morris Minor Estate being driven around here. If I win the lottery, I will have one sitting on your drive on Christmas Day morning.....if only....... XXXX
