Let's Take This Outside

Summer provides the perfect setting for one of my favorite things - outdoor entertaining. I love casual get-togethers with friends and family. A little inspiration. Enjoy!

  3. Oh how magnificent!!! NOW IS THE TIME FOR OUTDOOR FUN! And I only have until Friday and then school is out. It was a rough year and very discouraging. I am sure that in your career as a school principal, you saw not only the good by much discouraging behavior. It just saddens me to see so much apathy not just from students, but from some parents who just don't know what to do with their children who seem that they can rule the roost! Oh well, you win some and unfortunately, you loose some. Lovely post, thank you also for coming by my little blue heaven tour!!! ENJOY!

  6. Hi Rita - I'm not sure why outdoor spaces for living make me jump for joy but they do. It must be those years of growing up in Seattle & having an appreciation for being outside when you can?! You gave us so many beautiful examples to admire & inspire. I also love the idea of stacking ones plates along with fabric napkins. Cute! Hope you are enjoying June and doing well? xx

  12. Summer is finally here and that means at least two meals outdoors -- breakfast and dinner. Your post has inspired me to add a little more flourish to my al fresco meals, perhaps a vase of fresh flowers or some pretty cloth napikins.
