  2. Dearest Rita,
What a darling picture....Nature speaks volumes of motherly love and nuture and I so enjoy watching this robin who has built her nest on the beams of the front door overhang. She is like patience on a monument, just sitting there WAITING....haaahhaaa! Isn't that what moms do? WAIT for their children to learn, grow and become? I see that you are a retired school principal...oh dear Rita, what is happening to our kids today? I am in my seventh year of teaching and I could swear that the quality of character is suffering more and more. It is so discouraging; after having accomplished my Master's this January, I have often felt that I need to do something else, but my heart tells me otherwise. It is just so fatiguing trying to undo or redo what is obviously not being done at home....on a brighter note, thank you for gracing my comments page with your lovely smile and comments and I WISH YOU A GREAT MOM'S DAY! Anita

  10. You & I seem to think alike, and that's a good thing, especially for me. What a beautiful photo. May I keep it in my file? Isn't that the sweetest thing you've ever seen, the horsie mamma loving, protecting her little baby colt?
