Here's Looking At You!

Mirrors are one of those things that seen to always catch my eye when I walk into a store. Well, mirrors and lamps. The store can be stacked and plastered with hundreds of other beautiful things, but if there is a mirror, I'll find it. I rarely purchase a mirror because there is a limit to how many mirrors one needs, and the mirrors I really like come with an 'expensive taste' price tag.

I'll admit that I do have a couple of beautiful mirrors that I have enjoyed for years, but I still like to admire the ones that someone else will eventually own.

  2. Great pictures, reminded me that I was meant to put up a big mirror in our bedroom when we redecorated and somehow it got forgotten. My favourite of your shots is the last one, black and gold, very chic.

  5. I am so with you in the fact I have several accessory addictions; lamps, mirrors and chairs. I love the stark difference of an ornate mirror juxtaposed with sleek modern furniture such as that last photo. You've picked so many fabulous mirrors to admire. I do hope you have a terrific weekend and thanks for visiting my blog & taking the time to comment. I really do appreciate it.
    All my best ~ deb

  14. Dear, dear Rita,

Thank you for coming to comment on my anniversary blog; it really means a lot to me that people would come by!!! It is a blessing to share with others....NOW FOR THOSE MIRRORS! YES! I have several in my home because of the calming effect as you see a candle flicker and multiply its light through a mirror....so beautiful.

You are one stylish woman! And yes, let's go out and get a comfortable pair of elegant shoes that will pave our way gently, elegantly through the next phase!!!

  16. When you said you are a lover of mirrors and lamps I just about fell off my chair, I am the same way but you would also have to add pillows to that twosome. I think I have a little obsession. I loved the phrase ,You like to admire the mirrors that someone else might own someday. I am going to remember that but truth be known I am always looking for a new one to add to my ever growing collection. Kathysue
